René van Rems – Holiday WOODLANDS Centerpiece Workshop

Location: Good Samaritan Episcopal Church

Workshop Fee: $145

Time: 10:00 A.M.

OPEN TO MEMBERS ONLY

Join René in a unique hands-on workshop where he will demonstrate the easy steps of Holiday floral design for the perfect dinner table setting. After his up-close demonstration, you will be working with lots of natural Washington state conifer greenery, fresh ‘mood moss’ and mossed branches. Add to this the use of miniature apples, berries, walnuts and red roses, and you'll have a Euro-style nature art piece for your home that will last throughout the season.

This low, rounded, natural design will complement any table setting. René always brings lots of tips and industry tricks to show you the easier way to design with flowers and other natural mediums. These centerpieces will adorn the lunch tables for the December meeting and luncheon, after which you are ready to take your art piece home with you.

* LIMITED TO 20 students (MEMBERS ONLY unless space allows).
Please bring a floral knife and pruners if you have them. René will bring tools also.
