 Make and Take by Feather Acres Nursery

Workshop fee:  $25 – Time:  10:00 am

Halloween is bursting out at Kathy Peterson’s house in October.  Please join the ghosts, witches, and other brave souls to create fantastic autumn décor at our workshop.  You will take home a delightful creation to display in your home.

Ghoulish refreshments will be provided.

November 9, 2017 

Domaine de Manion

Presenter: Bonnie Jo Manion
Workshop fee: $30 – Time:  10:00 am

Experience Southern France first hand at Domaine de Manion while Bonnie creates an extra-ordinaire tablescape which will transition the table from autumn splendor to the holidays.  Before you leave, be sure to stroll through the vineyard and check out the veggie garden but, beware of an occasional wandering chicken or two.

Refreshments will be provided.

Growing Tomatoes and Edible Flowers with a “WOW” Factor

Your summer tomato salad, tomato tart, and bruschetta will be the highlight of your table as you learn from an expert how to grow and choose the perfect tomatoes for your potager.  Edible flowers will also be discussed so you may enhance your salads and give other dishes a special touch.

Remember: “It’s all about the presentation,” and “Love is in the details!”
Recipes will be provided and plants will be for sale.

Fascinating Times

Create an elegant floral fascinator to wear for a special occasion, whether it be a tea, wedding, holiday or “Opening Day at the Races.”  If you can use a glue gun, you can make this lovely veiled fascinator that even Duchess Kate would be proud to wear!

Enjoy a beverage fitting the theme.  All supplies will be provided, and there will be many examples to inspire you.
