This three-hour workshop conducted by Sharon May Lowe will teach homeowners the basics of how to do a landscape makeover. Topics include soil, design, turf removal, plant selection, planting, irrigation, rainwater catchment, and implementation – all elements needed to convert highwater use turf to a beautiful, water-efficient landscape. This class will also include information on the SDCWA Sustainable Program Turf Removal incentive and how to apply. A tour of the San Diego Botanic Garden will be included after the classroom presentation. Members $45, non-members $53. Register by January 27.
